Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-07
This policy applies to all paid services purchased from Navarrete Fernandez Jose (the "Provider") via navarretedev.com. It complements — does not replace — the Terms of Service.
1. Business customers (B2B)
Most engagements are between the Provider and a business customer. For B2B, French law does not impose a statutory cooling-off period. Refunds are governed by the contract:
- The deposit invoice (typically 50% of the fixed price) is non-refundable once any work has started — including discovery calls, scoping, design drafts, or code commits.
- For work that has not yet started, you may cancel and request a full deposit refund within 14 calendar days of payment. Refund is issued to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of the request.
- For ongoing engagements, the final invoice settles all delivered work. Any overpayment is refunded with the final invoice.
2. Consumers (B2C)
Where the customer is a consumer (a natural person acting outside of any professional capacity), French Code de la consommation art. L221-18 applies:
- You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of payment.
- To exercise this right, email info@navarretedev.com with your invoice number and a clear statement of withdrawal. No specific form is required.
- If you have explicitly waived the cooling-off period (per art. L221-25) so that work could begin immediately, you owe payment for work delivered up to the cancellation date. The balance is refunded within 14 calendar days.
- If you have not waived the right of withdrawal, the full payment is refunded within 14 calendar days, no questions asked.
3. Maintenance retainer (subscription)
The monthly maintenance retainer can be cancelled at any time:
- Cancel before the 1st of the month → no charge for that month.
- Cancel after the 1st of the month → that month is non-refundable, but no further months are billed.
4. How refunds are processed
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Viva Wallet. Bank processing typically takes 3–10 business days. The Provider does not charge cancellation fees beyond what is stated above.
5. Disputes
- First, email info@navarretedev.com — most disputes resolve directly within 5 business days.
- If unresolved, consumers may contact the Médiateur national du commerce (free mediation service for French commerce).
- As a last resort, the courts of Limoges, France have jurisdiction.
Card chargebacks: customers retain the right to dispute the transaction through their issuing bank under EU PSD2 / cardholder protection rules. The Provider cooperates with all legitimate chargeback investigations.
